Majilis Speaker received WHO Regional Director for Europe
K. Dzhakupov congratulated Z. Jakab on opening of the WHO Regional Director for Europe on primary health care in Almaty, which was held on February 11.
The interlocutors agreed that it was an important event for Kazakhstan and Central Asia and for Europe as well.
K. Dzhakupov noted the priority of healthcare in the important programs of the President of Kazakhstan and emphasized that the policy of the Head of State had always been aimed at fulfillment of social obligations despite the economic situation in the world.
Zsuzsanna Jakab told that opening of the office in Kazakhstan was the approval of the role of N. Nazarbayev in the sphere of healthcare on the global and regional level. Besides, she stressed the wisdom of all the decisions of N. Nazarbayev regarding the necessity of investments in the social sphere and expressed her confidence that Kazakhstan would achieve all the set goals.
K. Dzhakupov informed Z. Jakab about the legal work aimed at improvement of the healthcare system in Kazakhstan and improvement of the pharmaceutical policy.
Z. Jakab highly praised the level of cooperation between the WHO and Kazakhstan and noted the results reached in the sphere of the recent years.
