Majilis Speaker Yerlan Koshanov in Russia for official visit

Chairman of the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament Yerlan Koshanov has arrived in the Russian Federation for an official visit, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Koshanov is expected to visit Moscow and Kazan on March 4-5, the press service of the Majilis says.

In Moscow, he will meet with Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and Valentina Matvienko, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

In Kazan, Yerlan Koshanov will hold meetings with Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, and Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The sides will discuss the plans for the development of interparliamentary cooperation, as well as the issues of interregional economic and cultural-education interaction.
