Majilis speeds up lawmaking

ASTANA. January 30. KAZINFORM The Bureau of the Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament) has agreed with the proposal of Chairman of the House Ural Mukhamedzhanov to speed up consideration of a number of bills, Kazinform refers to the press service of the House.

The bills concern private household plot, space activity, prevention of money laundering, financing of terrorism and other. Besides, a number of committees were commissioned to continue the work on consideration of bills of the Code ?On marriage and family? and the Law ?On state regulation of production and turnover of bio-fuel?. Bills, providing ratification of the Kazakh-Latvian intergovernmental Agreement on air traffic and the Agreement on principles of levy of indirect taxes in the export and import of goods and services in the Customs Union were considered at the session as well. Bill ?On ratification of the Agreement on cooperation between CIS member states in struggle against embezzlement of cultural values and their return? was proposed for consideration as well.
