Majilis Vice Speaker, Vice-President of China Institute of Contemporary International Relations met

ASTANA. April 10. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Vice Chairman of the Majilis (Lower House of Kazakhstan Parliament) Zhanybek Karibzhanov met with the Vice-President of the China Institute of Contemporary International Relations Ji Zhiye.

The issues of promoting Kazakh-Chinese relations in the counteraction to the economic crisis were discussed at the meeting. Given the global economic situation it is very important for China to preserve political and socio-economic stability in Central Asia, Ji Zhiye said. He told about the measures, taken by the Chinese Government to tackle the crisis consequences, emphasizing the social orientation of these measures towards support of small and medium businesses, realization of infrastructural projects in order to ensure population employment, financial support of low-income citizens and a range of other measures.
