Major earthquake shakes Afghanistan, felt in S Kazakhstan
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A magnitude 7.7 earthquake has jolted Afghanistan today.
According to reports, the quake hit the territory of Afghanistan, 904 kilometers southwest of Almaty city at 3:09 p.m. local time. It had a depth of 150 kilometers and tremors were felt in the Kazakh cities of Shymkent and Taraz.
