Major international consortium in renewable energy sources presented in Kyrgyzstan
An international consortium specializing in the implementation of projects in the field of renewable energy sources (RES) was presented today at the press center of Kabar News Agency, Kabar reports.
According to the managing partner of Eco Power, chairman of the Association of Foreign Investors Kairat Itibaev, this press conference is timed to coincide with the official opening of the international consortium Eco Power - an important event for the energy sector of Kyrgyzstan. This consortium is designed to service large projects and provide assistance in the market with large financial institutions and transnational companies. Eco Power partners include leaders in the energy and engineering markets:
- KAZSEP (Kazakhstan) - design of power grid and energy facilities, including RES facilities;
- SNG Solar (Lithuania) — development, supply, construction, operation of renewable energy facilities;
- Qualitz Srl (Switzerland) — engineering and pre-design solutions for renewable energy facilities;
- Global Business (Czech Republic) — manufacturer of switchboards in the Energy sector;
- APS Energia S.A. (Poland) — manufacturer of industrial emergency power supply systems;
- Starkoff (South Korea) — a Korean company operating in the field of green energy;
- Association of Foreign Investors.
According to the Managing Director of Eco Power, Roman Roshel, the company has been operating in the Kyrgyz market for a year and offers comprehensive solutions for international investors and companies, from obtaining land rights and design to construction and long-term management of renewable energy facilities in Central Asia. “We combine global and local knowledge to create reliable and efficient energy projects,” he said.
Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in South Korea, Eco Power partner Kim Hosong noted that he is actively working to attract investors from Korea to Kyrgyzstan. "I am trying to attract investors and partners from Korea. This is a good opportunity to move along with energy. Recently, I have been very actively working to attract the attention of large Korean companies so that they invest in Kyrgyzstan, namely in renewable energy sources. And I deeply believe that in order to reach and surpass developed countries, we need to work with artificial intelligence," he said.
Kim Hosong added that they are interested in contributing to technical losses, namely reducing these losses, which will lead to great savings. It will be possible to save electricity.
The official opening ceremony will be held on September 19, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel from 10:00 to 13:00.
