Malaysian PM asks Kyrgyz President Atambayev for assistance in search for missing Boeing 777
Najib Razak asked for assistance in the search for the missing MH370 aircraft of the Malaysia Airlines. He asked to provide all the information that can be used in determining the flight of the aircraft, AKI Press reports.
The Prime Minister of Malaysia noticed that the aircraft could have possibly passed through the air space of Kyrgyzstan.
Almazbek Atambayev expressed willingness to assist the Malaysian side. The Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Air Defense Forces under the Ministry of Defense will provide all necessary information to Malaysian counterparts, he stressed.
The Malaysian Boeing 777 with 227 passengers and 12 crew members on board was flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, when disappeared from radar screens on the night of the 7/8th March. Location of the aircraft is still unknown.
Plane crash and possible hijacking are among versions of the incident.
