Mami elected as EurAsEC IPA chair

SAINT PETERSBURG. December 23. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ The 13th session of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Eurasian Economic Community has started its work today in Saint Petersburg.

Chairman of the Kazakh Senate, member of the EurAsEC IPA Bureau Kairat Mami has been elected as chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Eurasian Economic Community.

"Dear colleagues, I would like to assure you that I will make every effort to raise futher effectiveness of the EurAsEC IPA," Mami told addressing the parliamentarians of the Community member states.

"Our work should be based on respect and mutual understanding, strict adherence to the principle of equality and parity," the chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Eurasian Economic Community told.
