Man commits suicide bombing in Pavlodar rgn - Emergency Dept

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - In Pavlodar region man has committed suicide bombing, this has been reported by the press service of the regional Emergency Department.

"A man has previously barricaded his apartment's entrance door and opened the gas cylinder. Inside the room there were his cousin and his 10-year-old daughter. Fire service officer managed to mount a ladder to the balcony of the fourth floor and saved the girl. After that the gas cylinder exploded", the statement reads.

According to the Department, the man previously phoned to police and reported his plans on committing suicide.

The two men, who were incide the flat, were taken to the central hospital of Ekibastuz town. Explosive blast has damaged three other apartments.

Circumstances and other details of the incident are being investigated.
