Man robs Kazakhstan Temir Zholy of 3 bln, gets caught 11 years later in UAE

ASTANA. May 4. KAZINFORM Former employee of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Company Yerlan Kozhasbay who thieved KZT 3 billion from the leading railway company was caught in the United Arab Emirates 11 years later.

After the thievery Mr. Kozhasbay served as the head of the Kazakh Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

 The official spokesperson of the Internal Affairs Ministry Nurdilda Oraz told the briefing that fugitive was likely to be extradited from the UAE.
