ASTANA. February 17. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ Kazakhstan has taken necessary and bold steps within the framework of preparation for its chairmanship in the OSCE in 2010. Head of the OSCE Center in Astana Alexander Kelchevsky has announced it at a meeting with members of the Club of Editors-in-chief; Kazinform reports.

The diplomat emphasized that it is crucial to further improve necessary directions. And it is a wish of the OSCE member states. ?I can assure that at present all member states of the Organization take Kazakhstan positively. Even those countries, which were skeptical about Kazakhstan, have no doubts now?, A.Kelchevsky noted. ?As for the OSCE it is necessary to think of the organization reforming. It is crucial to make corresponding proposals. Many countries anticipate the Kazakh chairmanship to renew and reform the Organization. It is a very difficult task?, the Head of the center said.
