Marat Yelibayev named as acting chairman of Management Board at Kazakhstan Development Bank

Bolashak Scholarship graduate Marat Yelibayev is appointed the acting chairman of the Management Board at Kazakhstan Development Bank, Kazinform News Agency cites the official Telegram Channel of the Center for International Programs.

Marat Yelibayev was born in 1984. He graduated from the Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University and the London Business School.

He is a member of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve.

He served at the Deloitte Company in 2004 as a senior auditor. In 2007 he joined the PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Yelibayev also worked as the investment director/ vice president at the CITIC Kazyna Investment Fund I L.P.

In 2014 he took the post of the principal banker at the Energy Eurasia, Middle East and Africa Department, EBRD.

In 2022 he was appointed as the deputy chairman of the Management Board at Kazakhstan Development Bank.

From 2023 up to the present served as the chairman of the Management Board at Kazakhstan Development Bank.
