Massimov announced refinancing of mortgage loans

ASTANA. February 6. KAZINFORM /Bauyrzhan Mukanov/ Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov announced refinancing of existing mortgage loans at an enlarged conference of ?Nur Otan? Party faction; Kazinform reports.

?Yesterday the Head of the State gave me instructions connected with the housing sector lending. As you know, about USD 1 bln was directed to the National Welfare Fund ?SamrukKazyna? for lending of the real sector of economy. We suppose that these funds will be spent for refinancing of existing mortgage loans. An agreement about it was reached with banks?, the Premier said. ?Refinancing will civer the following groups: they should have mortgage loans and housing floor area should not exceed 120 square meters. A family should have one real estate and we should assure in this. A loan rate for laborers of the social and budgetary sphere will not exceed 9 percent per annum in the tenge, for other loaners ? 11 percent?, the Prime Minister said.
