May 7- Kazakhstan's national holiday, Defender of the Motherland Day
ASTANA. May 3. KAZINFORM Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev signed on May 3, 2012 the Decree "On the 20th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan."
The President ordered the Government to submit the draft law of Kazakhstan "On amendments to the Law of Kazakhstan "On public holidays in Kazakhstan" which proclaims May 7th as the national holiday, the Defender of the Motherland Day of Kazakhstan to the Parliament of Kazakhstan.
