Measures on prevention of undue tariff raising considered

KAZINFORM /Sandugash Duisenova/ A session on the measures on prevention of unfounded raising of tariff rates for the services of the natural monopolies, dominating in certain markets of goods was held in the Department of the Kazakh Agency on Regulation of Natural Monopolies, Kazinform reports.

Director of the Department Baiseit Tuimebayev urged natural monopolies holders to refrain from unfounded tariff raising for their services and observe the laws and regulations. In case of violations the Department has a right to take measures in accordance with the Administrative Violations Code. Explanations on amendments and additions introduced to the laws of Kazakhstan ?On natural monopolies and regulated markets? and ?On electric-power industry? were given at the session as well.
