MINSK. May 17. KAZINFORM Prices for dairy and meat products in Belarus will be raised gradually, Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister of Belarus Vasily Kazakevich told a press conference in Minsk on 17 May.

"We don't expect a sharp increase in dairy and meat prices," said the official. The prices will be raised gradually to match the growth of salaries, BelTA reports.

"In the future we should reach the level of prices of Customs Union member states, namely Russia and Kazakhstan," said Vasily Kazakevich. He reminded that due to price disparities meat and dairy products were exported uncontrollably from Belarus last year.
