Medeu ice rink opening for the season on November 15

 The high-mountain ice rick Medeu is to open at 10:00 am on November 15 with a grand opening ceremony scheduled at 13:30pm, Kazinform Agency cites the city’s administration. 

The opening ceremony’s program is to include ice skating performances, prize drawing, flashmob, artists’ performances.

As of now, the ice rink is being actively resurfaced as the preparatory works are being completed.

Medeu, a high-mountain sports complex, is situated near the city of Almaty at an altitude of 1,691 meters.
