Medical facilities under construction in Abai region’s villages

Medical facilities are being constructed in the Abai region, Kazinform News Agency reports with reference to the press service of the akimat.

The construction of medical centers in Orda and Medeu villages as well as the external utilities for a medical dispensary in Sarzhal village was completed in June.
All three facilities are fully equipped with electrical wires, and construction of the walls has already begun. The facilities are scheduled to be completed by 30 September 2024.
The district boasts a central hospital, a consultative and diagnostic health center, five medical dispensaries, three medical stations and an obstetric point. A total of 34 doctors and 105 mid-level health workers are working in the health institutions.
