Meeting of FMs of Caspian littoral states kicks off in Moscow
A meeting of the foreign ministers of the five Caspian littoral states has begun in a narrow format in Moscow, Russia, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
The meeting is attended by the foreign ministers of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia and Turkmenistan. The Kazakhstani side is represented by Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs.
During the consultations, a wide range of issues of mutual interest in the Caspian Sea zone will be considered. In particular, the heads of foreign affairs departments will discuss the priorities for the development of Caspian cooperation and the regional agenda.
After the narrow format, consultations of the delegations of the Caspian ‘five’ foreign ministries will take place in an expanded format.
