Melt water floods shut down roads in 4 regions

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Melt water overflows have closed roads in 4 regions of the country, Kazinform refers to the Emergency Committee under the Ministry of Interior.

In Akmola region section of "Almaty-Yekaterinburg" (1275-1353 km from Astana to the border of Karaganda region) road has been closed for all types of vehicles. Emergency Dept of Karaganda region has shut down the following highways: Karaganda-Balkhash (1488-1854 km of the road "Yekaterinburg - Almaty"); Temirtau - border of Akmola region (266-51 km of the road "Astana-Rozhdestvenka-Kievka-Temirtau"); Botakara village - Pavlodar region (0-93 km of the road "Kalkaman-Bayanaul-Umutker-Ulyanovsk"); Topar rural area - Zhezkazgan (906-433 km of the road "Kyzylorda - Pavlodar"), Karaganda - border of Akmola region (1038-1142 km of the road "Almaty-Yekaterinburg"). "Semey-Kainar" and "Almaty-Ust-Kamenogorsk" roads have been closed for all types of vehicles in East Kazakhstan region. Emergency Dept of Pavlodar region restricted vehicular traffic on the section of road from Maykayn village to the border of Karaganda region (93-265 km of the road "Ulyanovsk-Kerey-Umutker").
