Members of National Center for Human Rights of Kazakhstan visited Hungary and Austria
ASTANA. November 2. KAZINFORM A delegation of the National Center for Human Rights of Kazakhstan paid a reconnaissance visit to Hungary and Austria on October 23-31. The visit was organized within the joint trilateral project "Supporting the Human Right Commissioner (Ombudsman) in Kazakhstan" between the Ombudsman, the OSCE Center in Astana and Danish Institute for Human Rights, the press service of the Ombudsman reports.
The Kazakh delegation get acquainted with the activity of institutes of the Ombudsman in Hungary and Austria, visited the Parliaments of both states, held meetings with international human rights and non-governmental organizations.
At the end of the visit a briefing for representatives of the OSCE member states was held. The participants of the briefing were familiarized with interested information in the field of human rights and freedoms ensuring in Kazakhstan.
