ASTANA. March 16. KAZINFORM - In Rome the Kazakhstan Embassy in Italy with the participation of the senior representatives of the Customs Control Committee of the Kazakh Ministry of Finance, being on a working visit to the country, organized a workshop on customs business regulation.

It has been reported by the press-service of Foreign Affairs Ministry.

The event, held on 13 March this year, has been attended by the representatives of the Italian business community, as well as the heads of «SIMEST»Agency for the promotion of Italian investments abroad which is occupied with the development of an industrial zone in the "Seaport Aktau" FEZ (free economic zone).

In his speech Ambassador Adrian Elemesov stressed the importance of the customs agencies of Kazakhstan and Italy, which are comprehensively promoting the consistent growth of trade between the two nations. It was also pointed to the importance of sustained operational support of the customs to small and medium businesses of the states.

Deputy Chairman of the Customs Control Committee of the Ministry of Finance Dina Mamasheva brought to the attention of those present at the meeting the general information about the procedures, rules and procedures of customs clearance of goods and commodities in Kazakhstan, and gave detailed answers to the questions asked by the Italian businesspeople.

March 14 with the assistance of the Embassy there was a signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Customs Control Committee of the Ministry of Finance and the Customs Agency and Monopoly of Italy.
