Memorandum on cooperation in the sphere of interreligious accord signed in the capital

The theme of religious situation in the country has been discussed today at the Eurasian national University named after Gumilev. In the course of the round table deputy akim of Astana city Aida Balayeva and ENU provost Erlan Sydykov have signed a memorandum on cooperation.

Aida Balayeva, deputy akim of Astana city:

"Getting information on religions gives an opportunity to protect yourself, especially for the youth. Usually one becomes interested in it by the age of 40-45. In Islam religion 95% are the youth, many of them haven't even entered universities and haven't found their place. We've gathered at the round table to improve work in this sphere, for our joint cooperation and explanation of these things. As a result the society will be aware of the most important".

According to participants of the round table, this memorandum carries an opportunity to withstand dangers in spiritual sphere, enhance qualification of priesthood and improve propaganda work in the capital.
