Mets issue weather forecast for Sep 17

Mets issued a weather forecast for September 17 across Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency cites Kazhydromet.

The vast anticyclone sets the tone throughout the country bringing weather without precipitations.

Ground frosts with mercury reading 1-4 degrees are expected in the east of Abai region, East Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Karaganda, Akmola, and Zhetysu regions.

Aktobe, Ulytau, Zhetysu, West Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, Karaganda, East Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions are expected to brace for high fire threat.

The extremely high fire threat remains in effect in Kyzylorda, Turkistan, Zhambyl, Atyrau, Mangistau, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Ulytau, Abai, Zhetysu, Aktobe, Almaty regions.
