Mezzo to make a series of programs about music halls in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Mezzo, a French TV channel, will make programs about music halls of Astana city.

Deputy head of the Astana Culture Department Narima Mukhambetalina announced the news at a press conference on Wednesday. "The production team will visit Astana to make three programs called Mezzo Backstage about music halls of the Kazakh capital, including those that will host Astana Piano Passion contest, the Astana Opera and Ballet theater, Kazakhstan Concert Hall and the Palace of Peace and Accord," Ms Mukhambetalina said. Mezzo is a television channel devoted to classical music, jazz and world music. Launched in 2011, Mezzo Backstage tells about the most prestigious concert stages worldwide.
