Minister of Agriculture urges agribusinesses to be aware of existing government aid means

ASTANA. March 2. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ ?Local authorities must ensure awareness of every single agribusiness about the existing government aid means. Region deputy akims and district governors must draw up an effective system and coordinate all institutions engaged to help borrowers handle procedures?, Minister of Agriculture Akhylbek Kurishbayev announced today during the telephone conference.

KazAgro Holding has already taken all necessary measures. The lending mechanism has been simplified ultimately?, the Minister said. A. Kurishbayev emphasized the importance to make efficient and targeted use of public funds. He urged akims to optimize the work of local interagency commitees on subsidy assistance. He also requiered that ?representatives of social organizations, associations of commodity producers must also enter these committees in order make the process absolutely transparent and open?.
