Minister of Education: Goal is to comply with world standards

ASTANA. November 20. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ "The main goal today is to comply with the modern standards", Kazakh Minister of Education and Science Zhanseit Tuimebayev has said at the II international forum "Vocational Education and Business: Dialogue of Partners" today in Astana.

The exhibition on three directions - implementation of the Road Map, social partnership, and informational technologies of education - is held within the forum.

He noted that one of the tasks of the forum is to establish contacts with employers, modernize our educational standards. "One of the main achievements that I would like no emphasize is new educational standards in vocational education. We have spent about two years on it. Our specialists worked together with German, Norwegian and Holland colleagues", the Minister noted.

The leaders of the social partnership in the field of technical and vocational education and winners of republican competition "Best Technical and Vocational Educational Institution" will be awarded at the exhibition as well.
