Minister of State for Higher Education and Intellectual Property Of Great Britain to visit Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

ALMATY. March 13. KAZINFORM /Dauren Zhailin/ Within a visit to Almaty British Minister of State for Higher Education and Intellectual Property David Lammy is to visit the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on March 17, Kazinform refers to the university?s press service.

The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University notes that D.Lammy?s visit will promote further strengthening if ties between leading domestic university and British universities, scientific and cultural cooperation of the two countries. The British Minister will get acquainted with features of the state policy in the education sphere, which is conducted by President Nursultan Nazarbayev, and innovation directions of an activity of the Kazakh higher education in the sphere of mathematics, IT and nanotechnologies, with directions and prospects of cooperation of the Kazakh national University with British educational establishments and etc. D.Lammy will be accompanied by representatives of leading universities, colleges and educational centers of the Great Britain.
