Ministry of Culture and Information reviews fulfillment of President?s tasks

ASTANA. February 20. KAZINFORM Yesterday, on Feb 19, the Ministry of Culture and Information held a conference on consideration of the course of fulfillment of the President?s tasks given at the enlarged session of ?Nur Otan? National Democratic Party, Kazinform reports.

Deputy Head of the President?s Administration Maulen Ashimbayev, Deputy Head of the PM?s Office Yerzhan Babakumarov and the heads of press services of the central state bodies and national mass media attended it. Issues of the state?s information policy and general tendencies of development of Kazakhstan mass media in modern socio-economic conditions were in spotlight of the participants. It was noted that the state paid particular attention to the development of media community and provides all organizational and legal conditions for it. The conference attendees noted the role of the mass media and expressed necessity of consolidation and mobilization of the efforts of media community and state in realization of the platform of the Head of the State.
