Ministry of Culture and Information supports socially disadvantaged groups of population

ASTANA.  November 23. KAZINFORM  /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Ministry of Culture and Information gives special attention to support of socially disadvantaged groups of population. Executive Secretary of the Ministry Zhanna Kurmangaliyeva has said at the conference "IV Civil forum: summing up results and defining the priorities of development of the civil society" being held at Korme ExpoCenter.

"The consultations with the NGOs, their active participation in development of laws, various programs, mobilization of the potential of specialized associations for the solution of the socially important problems - all of these is widely used by authorities", she said. "Today the representatives of NGOs are active participants of the Government's sittings, Parliament's session etc", she added.

According to her, due to the crisis the Ministry of Culture and Information pays particular attention to the projects directed on support of socially disadvantaged groups of population.
