Minsk hosted an expo dated to 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence

NSK. November 11. KAZINFORM /Aituar Mamlin/ An international scientific and practical conference "Independent Kazakhstan: 20 years of development, confidence, stability, consolidation of society and cultural ties" took place today in Minsk.

It is initiated by the Kazakh Embassy to Belarus jointly with the Belarus State Arts and Culture University. The conference focused on a wide range of urgent issues reflecting the state and prospects for Kazakhstan's development.

Opening the event, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Belarus Anatoly Smirnov, said for 20 years sovereign Kazakhstan achieved great success in the international arena standing for interethnic and interfaith dialogue, a nuclear weapons free world.

Scientists and culture experts of Kazakhstan and Belarus, deputies of the Belarus Parliament, heads of the CIS Executive Committee, diplomats and heads of diplomatic missions, accredited in Belarus, reps of state bodies and mass media took part in it.
