Missing 7yo girl found dead, mother detained on suspicion of murder

The mother of the seven-year-old girl, who was reported missing,  and a man who helped the woman conceal traces of the crime were detained. Both confessed to a murder, Kazinform Agency reports.

As earlier reported, a little girl went missing on November 17 at 04:00 p.m. in the village of Beskauga 50 km away from Ekibastuz city in Pavlodar region. The mother reported her daughter missing at 09:00 p.m. More than 400 people took part in a search operation for the seven-year-old girl for two days. A helicopter and canine teams were also deployed in search efforts. Hundreds of volunteers combed the neighborhood and surrounding areas.

The child who was reported missing was found dead at 06:00 p.m. on November 19.

When asked the mother of the girl could not reveal what clothes her daughter was wearing before she disappeared.
