Missing girl found after 8 years

According to the press service of the city Department of Internal Affairs the young woman came in sight of police as she did not have any identity documents. It was also revealed that she had no fixed abode.
The girl was put into a detention center. Police found out that her birth certificate was lost and she did not apply for ID card.
The detainee identified herself as Katerina Boyko. During identification activities the police determined that the woman was a native of Almaty Katerina Kokhanova, born in 1994.
She explained that she had never seen her mother. She was brought up by her father and a stepmother until she became 9. After he split with his wife the man sent Katerina to a boarding school of Talgar town, Almaty region. Having escaped from there she returned home but her father began to live with another woman. Finding no support from the father, the young girl ran away from home.
Eight years she roamed the streets of Almaty and Astana, made her bread working in cafes and cleaning apartments.
Police had found the girl's father in Almaty, who confirmed that Katerina is his daughter and a few years ago she ran away from home. Last weekend the man arrived in Astana and took his daughter home.
