Modernization of Kazakhstan industry to strengthen Kazakh-German economic coop - business forum

ASTANA. March 15. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Modernization of Kazakhstan industry will allow strengthening economic cooperation with Germany, representative of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technologies Ramona Frick considers so.

"The economic cooperation between Germany and Kazakhstan will expand in the nearest future due to big demand in modernization of many directions of Kazakhstan industry including infrastructure", R. Frick said addressing the participants of the Kazakh-German Business Forum of railway industry.

According to her, Germany could inject large investments into expansion and modernization of both railway lines and rolling stocks.

"Our enterprises can render all-round assistance to you because they are world-recognized leaders in this sphere", the representative of the German Ministry stressed.

"Commodity turnover of Germany with Kazakhstan makes 85% of the total turnover with Central Asian region. 170 small and medium joint enterprises are functioning today in Kazakhstan", she said.
