“Mongol Language and Script” exhibition to be displayed abroad

The “Mongol Language and Script” exhibition will be held in Taiwan, Seoul, South Korea, and Tokyo, Japan, from January 15 to February 25, 2025, Montsame reports.

The exhibition aims to promote the Mongol language and script to Mongol citizens and children studying, working, and living abroad, and to promote national history, culture, heritage, and cultural values ​​internationally.

Mongol language and cultural centers operating in Taiwan, Japan, and the Republic of Korea, as well as Mongol citizens and children living in these countries, are eligible to participate in the exhibition.

Besides the exhibition, other activities are scheduled including lectures on the Mongol language and Mongol script, and cultural heritage; lessons to introduce the Mongol language and script; and the Mongol script competition (among adults, high school students, and beginners in the Mongol language and script).

The “Council of Mongolians Abroad” NGO, the “Mongolian and Korean Language and Culture Center” NGO in the Republic of Korea, the “Bilingual, Bicultural” NGO in Taiwan, and the “My Mongolia” school in Japan will co-organize the event.

Earlier it was reported that Mongolia and China are to expand cooperation in tourism and cultural sectors.
