Monster wind damages building roofs, power lines in Balkhash

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Stiff wind gusting to 20m per sec is raging in the town of Balkhash, Kazinform has learnt from the Ministry of Emergencies.

It has already tore roofs off of four residential compounds, a café, a garage, and a gym. The devastating blasts of wind also took down power lines in some areas of the town. A bus stop and a small shop were damaged. No casualties were reported. A special commission has been formed to estimate damage in Balkhash.
