Monumental composition 'Kazakhstan' unveiled in Almaty
The composition represents a figure of the Kazakh President and the granite monument in the form of two wings of the eagle. The wings depict two historically significant cities - Astana and Almaty, as symbols of an independent state - against the background of national ornaments and gilded letters of the quotes from the President's speech. The monument is made of bronze, granite, marble.
Yessimov stressed that Kazakhstan under the leadership of Nursultan Nazarbayev successfully implemented large-scale political, economic and social reforms in a short period of time. According to him, today Kazakhstan's GDP ranks 54th among more than 200 countries in the world, 16th among 50 Asian countries, 21st among 46 European countries. More than 60% of Central Asia's GDP belongs to Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is approaching the socio-economic indicators of developed countries. "No coincidence that the phenomenon of Kazakhstan's model of development appeared in the international arena," he noted.
