Moratorium on inspections to increase the number and quality of SMEs - the head of «Kazphosphate"
A lot of small and medium businesses give various services to "Kazphosphate". They also deliver their products, and M.Iskandirov hopes that the moratorium on inspections will bring them facilitation. He thinks it is necessary to remove unnecessary obstacles in regard to small and medium-sized businesses, and in the end the number of competent entrepreneurs will grow. "As our President Nursultan Nazarbayev said, small and medium businesses are the lion's share of gross domestic product in the country. Experience shows that small and medium businesses are more resistant to crises," the head of "Kazphosphate" reiterated the President's words. M. Iskandirov introduced several proposals to facilitate the work of the entrepreneurs within the Customs Union. "First of all, it is necessary to unify railway tariffs. Russian rates are higher than Kazakhstan's. There are also problems with the transit of dangerous goods. First, Kazakhstan issues documentation, then it is done again in the Russian Federation. In order to simplify this procedure, it is enough to receive the documents in one of the countries, which will be valid and operate on the territory of other CU countries", he said. M.Iskandirov believes that the conditions of business running should be easier. Then there will be only a question of competitiveness, and it concerns already an entrepreneur himself/herself. The businessman notes a number of positive changes in company after the commencement of the Customs Union. "Since joining the CU, exports and imports in the Union has grown, especially with the Russian Federation. M. Iskandirov gave some figures: From 2012 to 2013, annually the company exported products by 100 million dollars. At the same time we spent $ 55 million to buy equipment and spare parts. He also noted that another 50 million were spent on purchasing raw materials. And the delivery has become much simpler in both directions.
