More Japanese eye S.E. Asia as place to live in post-March 11 era

TOKYO. April 20. KAZINFORM An increasing number of Japanese people are relocating to Southeast Asia, not just to spend retirement in countries with temperate climates but to do business and give their children a chance to master English.

A noticeable recent trend is that some appear motivated by growing concern about living in a country hit by the world's worst nuclear disaster in a quarter of a century following the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami,  Kyodo reports.

In southern Malaysia, plans are currently under way to develop a ''Little Tokyo'' at the center of Johor Bahru, which is adjacent to the region's major financial hub, Singapore.
