More than 1,000 Afghan students to study in Kazakh universities - Kazykhanov

TANA. November 14. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ More than 1,000 Afghan students will study in the Kazakh universities. Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerzhan Kazykhanov has said at a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan Zalmai Rassoul.

"During several years Kazakhstan renders humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, we finance a number of humanitarian projects in this country. One of the examples is implementation of educational program, according to which the Afghan students study in Kazakhstan. And in accordance with President N.Nazarbayev's instruction, the Government allocated USD 50 mln for this program implementation. We expect that more than 1,000 Afghan students will study in the Kazakh universities," Y.Kazykhanov said.
