More than 120 new high-tech launched in medical sphere in Kazakhstan in 2011

ASTANA. February 3. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ 123 new high technologies were launched in the medical sphere in 2011, 37 out of them are successfully used in the regions.

Kazakh Minister of Healthcare Salidat Kairbekova has announced at a board meeting of the Ministry.

According to her, thanks to stable financing of the field, there was started introduction o high technologies and new diagnostic methods followed by a transfer to the regions.

As the Minister noted, Kazakhstan the first in the post-Soviet space joined top 22 countries of the world, which implant ventricular assist device.

The Cardiac Surgery Center on the basis of the National Scientific Medical center held operations on transplantation of artificial ventricle.
