More than 4 people run for one deputy’s seat in the Senate - CEC
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - More than 4 people run for one deputy's seat in the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, according to the chairman of the Central Election Commission Kuandyk Turgankulov.
"According to the CEC, as of August 4, there are seventy two nominated candidates for the offices of deputies in the Senate", said K.Turgankulov. According to his words, there are 4 women among the nominated candidates. Most of the candidates - 33 people, or 45 per cent - are people aged 45-55 years.
