More than 40 documents worth over EUR 2 bln to be inked within President's visit to Germany

ASTANA. February 6. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ Today official spokesman of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs Altay Abibullayev has informed of the goals of President Nursultan Nazarbayev's visit to Germany.

"The official visit of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the Federal Republic of Germany, which will be carried out on February 7-8, is aimed at further strengthening and development of the Kazakh-German relations. The official visit includes the President's negotiations with the top political leadership of Germany, leading German politicians, within which it is planned to discuss a wide range of issues both in a format of bilateral cooperation and within "Kazakhstan-EU," A.Abibullayev said.

According to him, the main keynote of the visit will be discussion of further cooperation in the trade-economic sphere with participation of the German capital. Following the results of the talks it is planned to ink a solid package if intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents. Besides, representatives of business circles of the two countries will sign more than 40 Kazakh-German commercial documents amounting to over EUR 2 billion.
