More than 50 events to mark 70th anniversary of Great Victory will be held in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - More than 50 events will be held in Kazakhstan in the framework of the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, the press service of the Ministry of Health and Social Development reports.

Thus, the plan of activities for the preparation and celebration of the 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, approved by Government Resolution as of October 16, 2014, provide for the Great Patriotic War veterans awarding with the jubilee medal "70 years of victory in the Great Patriotic War , 1941-1945"; conducting a military parade dedicated to the Day of Defender of the Fatherland and the 70th anniversary of the victory in the city of Astana; organization of a campaign called "Ardagym ardagerіm". There are also planned to carry out solemn assemblies, concerts, meetings, presentations of books, photo and book exhibitions, performances, celebratory processions involving schoolchildren and students of educational institutions, and members of youth organizations.
