MOSCOW. March 18. KAZINFORM. Russia State Central Concert Hall (Luzhniki Sport Palace) hosted a large city wide holiday "Nauryz-2012."

Foreign diplomats, members of the national public associations of Russia, representatives of national Diasporas living in Moscow participated in this action. Well-known singers and professional creative teams of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan performed in the concert. The apotheosis of the concert was the performance of People's Artist of Kazakhstan Roza Rymbaeva.

Translated from the Persian "Nawruz" means a new day. In 2009, Nowruz was included in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage of mankind, and declared March 21 as International Day of Nowruz.
