Mosques and other places of religious worship should be located in accordance with laws - rep of Italian NGO

ASTANA. November 27. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Mosques and other places of religious worship should be located in accordance with laws and municipal by-law. The representative of the Religious Tolerance Surveillance Center of Italy has announced it at the OSCE Review Conference held in the Palace of Peace and Concord.

"Migrants movements in the OSCE region gained significant scales. It enriches our democratic society. In particular, religious diversity is a positive factor in improving our well-being. Protection and strengthening of migrants rights should be in the highlight of the OSCE member states for prevention of intolerance and discrimination", the speaker said.

He noted that the principle of the interstate mutuality is irrelevant in this sphere. Location of places of religious worship should comply with zoning laws and corresponding municipal by-law.
