Most popular baby names of 2024 in Kazakhstan revealed

This year the baby boys’ Top 10 popular names slightly changed with Mukhammed ranking first replacing Alikhan that held the top spot for the past 10 years since 2014, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Bureau of Statistics..

Nurislam for the first time dropped out from the top 10 popular names for boys. The most popular boys' names include: Mukhammed, Aisultan, Alikhan, Mukhammad, Omar, Aldiyar, Amir, Alan, Ali and Khamza.

For the girls' names, Ailin is followed by Medina, Assylym, Aisha, Tomiris, Ayala, Aiym, Rayana, Safiya, and Mariyam. This year Mariyam for the first time ranked among the Top 10 girls' names overtaking Amina.
