Mother, son killed in road accident in Zhambyl region

A mother and her teenage son died on the spot after being hit by out-of-control car in Zhambyl region, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the police department of Zhambyl region.

The collision happened at 8:50pm on November 24 on 369km of the West Europe-West China republican significance road in Merkenskiy district, Zhambyl region, when a 44-year-old driver of a Mercedes lost control and slammed into VAZ 2114 and BMW vehicles, parked on the roadside.

As a result of the accident, a driver of the BMW car and her teenage son were killed on the spot.

The police deparment of Zhambyl region has launched a criminal investigation into the accident.
