Most of Kazakhstan set to enjoy fair weather on Monday

The vast anticyclone brings weather without precipitation to the greater part of Kazakhstan, and thundershowers to the country’s south and southeast. Fog is expected in the north at night and in the morning countrywide with dust storms predicted in the south, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Ground frosts are set to persist at nighttime in the mountainous districts of Almaty and Zhetysu regions.

The high fire threat is in place in Aktobe, Karaganda, Ulytau, Zhetysu, West Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Abai, Mangistau and Kostanay regions.

The extremely high fire hazard remains in effect in Mangistau, Atyrau, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, West Kazakhstan, Ulytau, Turkistan, Abai, Zhetysu and Aktobe regions.
