Multi-vehicle accident kills one, injures three in Almaty region

A multi-vehicle accident which occurred in Almaty region, killed one and injured three people, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The accident is reportedly occurred on the night of August 13 to 14, when Opel Antara, Toyota Camry and Mercedes Benz cars collided with each other on the 88^th kilometers of the Almaty-Oskemen highway.

According to the local police department, driver of Toyota Camry died at the scene of the accident, and three people were rushed to a hospital with various traumas.

A criminal case was launched and an examination is underway, police said.

As reported, five people were killed in another road accident in early summer on the 55^th kilometer of the Almaty-Oskemen highway.
